Blalock’s Tips to Become a
Better Football Player
As you know, I grew up in Texas
where football is a religion.
Not only did I start playing
flag football at age six, my
Dad, like most dads, took me to
the Plano East High School
football games on Friday nights
from age six until I could drive
myself! I wasn’t always watching
the games, but that was where I
starting really learning about
tackle football.
Each week, throughout the
football season, I will share
with you my tips for being a
successful football player. I
hope you’ll find them
interesting, if not helpful to
your football playing days.
Week 16 -
Another Tailgating Tip
Your favorite college team may
be headed to a college bowl game
and the tickets are so expensive
that you cannot afford the game
ticket. So you may plan to just
hang out or tailgate outside of
the stadium for the entire game
instead of just before the game.
That means you'll need lots of
food for the duration. And, that
means you'll really want to have
a lot of healthy snacks. So in
addition to the few food tips I
had in Week 15, please go to
www.snackpicks.com for lots
of ideas for healthy snacks.
